Hey Guys!
Today I’m showing you how to make a simple chili con carne but with quorn mince.
If you’ve never heard of quorn mince its main ingredient is Mycoprotein, a nutritionally healthy protein source. Mycoprotein is produced by a process of fermentation similar to that used for yeast in bread.

It looks and tastes pretty similar to mince beef but the only down side to it is that it’s made out of eggs as well, so it’s not a good vegan substitute.
I’ve had a hard time finding a good vegan mince substitute that is also gluten-free. Most minces here in England contain gluten in one or another form. So if you have any suggestions of one that is gluten-free and vegan in Sweden or England please let me know.
I really hope you give this is try, it’s delicious and good for you.
xx
