Thanks for making the video, well done! Don't worry about the dull knife comments, you already addressed it in the video, and I don't now why everyone is nitpicking about it — probably because there was nothing else to critique, other than it flowed well, and I was able to follow along easily! 🙂
I love the casual way how this dad demonstrated it – no nonsense, I like especially that he doesn't bother measuring with 'milliliters' but used 'some, a little, one or two , not mujch, etc..' – just every day cooking. I smiled at the daughter's comment at the end, but when I cooked it and it was REALLY GOOD! !
I don't think it's your knife being dull, I think it's the flex in your cutting board. Not being critical just an observation. I enjoy your video's and have made several with great success. Thanks for posting.
Looks pretty good man. Willy is right about the knife though, makes me uncomfortable to watch someone use a dull knife. Check out a king 1000/6000 stone and learn to use it. It's not expensive and not that hard to use. It'll change your kitchen experience dramatically.
A piece of constructive criticism and for your safety SHARPEN YOUR KNIFE. If you don't have one you'll likely have a ceramic plate at home, just run your knife back and forth the bottom of the plate. Also so keep your cutting board from slipping, put a wet cloth under it.
You do an awesome job with balancing the sweet and salty flavors within a lot of your Asian dishes, the exact same way most people in Asia would do in cooking their own food for their families. I'm really and truly impressed! I also hope you continue to feature more of your Chinese and Korean inspired dishes so more people can learn how to cook them correctly. Great job!

In dutch they say "prutser" when you see a guy cooking like this.

Love her response to your question about whether she would sharpen the knives. Lol. Great job! I love bamboo and shiitake mushrooms.
