One of the best dishes that I love preparing in my slow cooker is Dal Makhani. I cook Lentils in bulk and then fry them as required. Dal Makhani is a popular Indian Lentils Curry with lots of flavour from Garlic, Tomatoes and Toasted cumin and coriander seeds. Whipped Cream/ Half and Half or Dallops of butter is added towards the end for a richer, creamier taste and simple creamy goodness.

Thank you sister !!! I tried it and it came out good 🙂
Delicious
Fantastic! I loved it.I used my pure clay pot my friend gifted me from miriamsearthencookware.com as slow cooker, It was amazed the way it was cooked and tasted. The pure clay pot cook the food with far-infrared heat emitting from the walls let seasoning & spices penetrate deeper without damaging the surface. It tasted delicious as it looked. Most importantly my 100% natural clay pot holds all the nutrients in the food and no worries about the metal or chemicals getting into the food.
scrumptious looking recipe, think I'll try it very soon! A couple questions: 1 – do you rinse or soak the beans? 2 – salt usually causes beans not to cook, so have you noticed a problem with adding salt before cooking? Thanks! 🙂
Wow! Seems easy to make this way, yet that overnight slow cooking intensifies the flavor!Â
