Just made this for super bowl night and it was outrageously good. You don't need a deep frier, either. Was going to buy one, but there were none at any local stores, so filled my large cast iron pan with canola oil. Just throw a couple of popcorn kernels into the oil; when they pop, that means that the temperature is perfect for frying. Edgy Veg's seitan recipe for this is EXCELLENT (I've tried a few in my day) so highly recommend following it exactly as written.

I’m gonna use regular eggs since I’m an lacto-ovo vegetarian basically a vegetarian that can eat or drink anything with dairy but this one can also eat eggs this I what I’m trying to transition 2 because I can’t get rid of my eggs or dairy would be miserable without them and Ik there’s egg replacements but they are expensive and won’t be able to afford because I eat eggs like almost everyday and veg eggs that come with only four they wouldn’t last a week only for about 2 days so ya no but I’m gonna be doing more vegan meals so thanks I’ll try it sometime
