I made this green beans caserole few days ago, for thanksgiving 2018 with little twist since my husband is sensitive to gluten .. 2.5 tbsp gluten free flour for roux and substituted panko with almond meal .. it turned out super delicious .. our family loves it, no green beans left .. I prepared all ingredients a night before thanksgiving and took it out from refrigerator an hour before i put in the oven the next day … Thanks chef
I used fresh green beans for years and just recently I've started using frozen fine green beans and they taste absolutely no different! It really saves a lot of time using the frozen. Especially since you boil them anyway.
