You just look at the recipe and ingredients and you know this would be a great dish. i used to follow the Indian kofta meat recopies to make this. Using this you can make it totally meatless.
I made them, they were really yummmyππ great for fasting for Easter. Hope you have more vegan recipes. Love the vide short and not too much talk. πππ
I will make these with some hot chilli peppers then add cucumber yoghurt sauce for dipping.
Woooowww Lovely food thank you for sharing. I will a try 2moro.
Hello, what would you substitute the nuts with as I cannot eat nuts as they will make me very very ill?Β I was thinking maybe of breadcrumbs, what do other's think?
Can we add in egg for binding pls let me know
How about green lentils instead of red?
Just made these kebabs, they are so tasty, will do them again.
Thank you for this great recipe β€
I do not own a food processor, however I do have a powerful stand blender & a hand blender. The stand mixer could NOT mix the lentils+coriander+garlic+ginger together. So I dumped it into a bowl & used the hand blender to grind/mix them together. I sauteed all my veges (sweet potato/carrots/onions/a bit of cauliflower), cooled & added them to ground lentil mixture. Then I added all spices listed, also added the ground cashews. After grating veges, nuts, sauteing veges, mixing all, then washing 2 bowls, a frying pan, blender container, hand blender I am too tired to fry the dam things. So a warning, if you do not have a food processor to chop/grate everything, go find an easier recipe, nothing could taste good enough for all the work these required, sorry.

Looks delicious
Oh man, I have 99% of the ingredients in my house, just missing the fresh parsley (just ran out of it π€¦π½ββοΈ). Can dried parsley be used instead of the fresh, or is there anything that can substitute the parsley?
FYI- please do not eat canola oil! It has been associated with major health problems and is processed using heavy chemicals. Canola is NOT a plant. Its stands for Canada-oil. It is made from the unhealthy rapeseed plant and Canada was paid millions to grow this unhealthy oil and push it on the public! Many foodies and cookbook publishers were paid to add "use canola oil" in their recipes.
Very nice. Thanks a lot π€
Can u bake it instead of frying it ?
I like they way u went straight to your instructions and itβs great ! Today finally I have all ingredients and got very ambitious I started took two hours to prepare anyways test good I am not vegan .In my old age spending hours to prefer food is tiresome . Thank you U are one of the best .
Every thing went to the mixture is good ,so I will give it try .Thank You.
Could these be air fried? ππ½
1 teaspoon of cumin only for me. Olive oil or coconut oil. Could cook in the oven i think, but a very good and useful recipe. Im looking forward to it , especially as a change in the summer with salad. Im giving up ham and that sort of thing. Also this would be a good replacement for any kind of sausages. This would be batch cooking for me, enough to freeze some. K
Perfect and foolproof recipe, but i wonder if i can bake them in the oven? I think it will be healthier.
